CASTELLO DEL TERRICCIO is a hidden gem on the Tuscan coast, nestled along the northern edge of Maremma, near Bolgheri. Spanning 1,500 hectares in a single estate, it includes 60 hectares of vineyards and 40 of olive groves. The estate’s wines reflect a rare and powerful terroir: mineral-rich soils with copper and iron, Mediterranean bushland, eucalyptus groves, and intense coastal sunlight. Flagship reds such as Lupicaia and Castello del Terriccio have helped shape the history of Italian winemaking, earning global acclaim for their structure, elegance, and longevity. The most recent addition, Gian Annibale, is a bold and age-worthy wine crafted only in outstanding vintages and produced in extremely limited quantities.
